The First VRF system installed in the UAE and the Arabian Gulf region was the CITYMULTI Mitsubishi Electric units for The Falcon House in Sweihan. The system which operated on R22 refrigerant , was commissioned in April 2000 . It consisted of various sizes Ceiling Cassette indoor units and matching outdoor units and was installed and commissioned by United Electronics Co .
